In a bid to strengthen the campaign for qualifying to the Fufa Big league, the club has made a few changes in the coaching staff by appointing Emil Henry Amasha as the new head Coach and to be assisted by Buleega Moses. The two have replaced Coach Efiti Gerald and Daniel Ssegawa respectively.

The outgoing Coaches (Efiti and Ssegawa) have been sponsored to go for further coaching studies courtesy of Kawuulu Foundation to equip them with the required qualifications

Amasha is an experienced coach with a CAF C license.

“We welcome you to the club as our new Head Coach after several consultations and approvals. The club has appointed you on grounds that you have enough experience and your track record is undoubted. With the above combination, we believe you can take the club to the next level and that is; FUFA 2nd Division League by the end of 2019/2020 season’’, Said the Club Chairman Wednesday 5th-February-2020 during the unveiling ceremony.

Lugazi Municipal is currently the 2nd in Ssezibwa Group with 4 points behind the table leaders. At the end of the season the group leaders from both Ssezibwa and Katonga groups will go for playoffs to determine the champion of Buganda region who will then face that of Kampala region for a slot to the Fufa big League.

    Well Coach Amasha is having alot of experience when it comes to promoting young talents and his assistant Mr. Bulega has been in the field of football since his young age.
